Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of parts department employees.
- Monitor and control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maximize profitability.
- Maintain accurate and organized parts inventory -monitor levels weekly, order supplies, and track shipments.
- Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and related information.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in parts sales and services.
- Ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Utilize dealership management systems and software to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with the sales and service departments to meet customer needs and ensure internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders.
Qualifications
- Five years of franchise dealership experience in an automotive parts department management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and professional customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems and relevant software.
- Dependable, reliable and good work ethic.
- Clean (no tickets/no accidents) and valid NYS driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
