```Job Summary```
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to oversee the operations of multiple properties within our portfolio. The Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of these properties, maintaining high levels of tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property performance.

```Responsibilities```
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple properties, including property maintenance, leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services such as landscaping, janitorial, and security
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws and regulations
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) to track leasing activity, financial performance, and maintenance requests
- Prepare regular reports on property performance, including occupancy rates, rental income, expenses, and budget variances

```Requirements```
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in property management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using property management software (such as Yardi) and computer applications (MS Office)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is preferred
- LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) experience required
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
