Coneybeare is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Orange, CA

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the front line of customer engagements for an Oil products and fuels Distributor in Southern California. Working closely with customers in-person, over the phone, via email and through our live online chat feature you will soon be the expert regarding processing orders and transactions. As the first person that customers encounter, this position requires an elevated level of communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with people.
Essential Duties:
  • Greet and respond to customers warmly both in person and over the phone.
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional & timely manner.
  • Successfully represent the branding and value proposition of our products and services.
  • Respond to customer needs through multiple communication and technological platforms.
  • Manage day to day office tasks such as shipping and receiving and will-call processes.
  • Manage the lifecycle of incoming orders.
  • Staging and retrieving products for WILL call orders.
  • Process monetary transactions for credit cards orders
  • Assist with the Backorder and Stock Transfer processes.
  • Adding drivers in Salesforce orders for all next day deliveries
  • Update Salesforce orders when they are rolled.
  • Make copies of orders to stage for delivery.
  • Scanning delivery tickets and driver logs to accounting department
  • Manage and resolve customer dissatisfaction.
  • Manage e-chat conversations in real-time with existing customers and prospects.
  • Maintain a clean work area free of clutter & debris.
  • Be punctual, a.m. CSR will open and close the office for business.
  • Check weekly for accuracy on Lancaster and Vista stock transfer stages.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Respond to customer needs through multiple communication and technological platforms.
  • Take and process incoming orders.
  • Perform product and service cross comparisons and recommend alternative options.
  • Foster relationships with prospects, customers, and referral sources to identify new and continued opportunities.
  • Utilize the Salesforce CRM platform and other technological platforms to both improve and maintain the accuracy of customer engagements.
  • Maintain awareness around product availability and assess accurate timelines for order fulfillment.
  • Manage established clientele as well as pursue reacquiring previous customers and new first-time clients.
  • Manage list of deadstock items by calling customers who have previously ordered products.
  • Provide coverage for the customer service department during lunches, breaks, or as needed.
  • Staging and retrieving products for Will call orders.
  • Process Chevron Orders in Business Point
  • Stock check and confirm ETAs on backorders.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (with occasional O/T)
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service Representative experience
  • Experience working with a CRM, especially Salesforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral). Bilingual preferred English/Spanish
  • Knowledge and comprehension of engines and or machines is a PLUS.
