Job Details

The TemPositions Group of Companies has an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and be the link between our technological solutions and our business objectives. The candidate will have expertise in providing essential training, preferably with a focus on web/internet projects to work with internal users to capture agreed-upon business requirements and processes and communicate these processes and their implications to technical and non-technical contributors to ensure that applications accurately meet business user goals.

Founded in 1962, The TemPositions Group of Companies is a privately owned full-service staffing firm with 13 specialty groups and is based in NYC. This position is based at our NYC office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and discern current and future business processes and requirements.
  • Define configuration specifications and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with department heads and working with them to optimize and enhance our internal system.
  • Collect business requirements, oversee the development, and coordinate the rewrite and rebuild of our proprietary Enterprise Staffing systems.
  • Work with business users and support offshore and onshore models for the rewrite projects.
  • Test and be a crucial part of the success and development of our internal systems.
  • Ensure that all requirements support the delivery of business value, fulfills goals and objectives, and meets stakeholder needs.
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to IT department.
  • Utilize analytical skills to gather organize, manipulate, and interpret data.
  • Assist with any other project management duties that may arise to support our stakeholders.
  • Creates technical training programs according to requirements.
  • Prepares training materials and sessions in groups or individually.
  • Providing weekly updates on release activities.
  • Communicating key project commitments, plans, changes, and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization stakeholders and staff.
  • Able to work projects to completion.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Attention to detail and follow-up skills a must.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize according to needs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as all levels of staff.
  • Must be self-motivated and ability to work with diverse personalities in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal, communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to build high-level relationships.
  • Self-motivated and possess a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectation.
  • Professional appearance, demeanor and approach to work.
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
