Established Private Group Practice is seeking a licensed Social Worker to work with court-involved children and families. Forensic social work experience, child welfare experience, and/or experience working with high conflict families is highly preferred. Prior practice with mental illness, substance abuse or domestic violence populations is also preferred.
Social workers provide forensic and therapeutic services to children and families. Tasks include supervising community and office-based family visits, providing direct advocacy on behalf of children and adults, and being responsible for therapeutic assessment of and intervention with children and their families. Work hours can be flexible, but late afternoon, evening, and some weekend availability is required in order to accommodate the families with which we work.
Applicant must have demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team model.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with willingness to travel and conduct home visits. Empathy, creativity, and dedication to service families in conflict are highly valued at CFS, and motivated self-starters are encouraged to apply!
