Job SummaryThe Social Worker performs a variety of services under the general supervision of the Director/Manager, with the main focus of linking patient to the community and with community resources and providing psychosocial to vulnerable patients/families to meet their needs. Home visits/Community visits required whenever warranted.
Requirements/Skills
- Masters of Social Work
- A valid N.Y.S LMSW required.
- 2-3 years previous experience in a mental health setting.
- Must be able to problem solve and think critically.
- Must be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be highly organized, work with the interdisciplinary team.
