The Human Resources Generalist supports the business and our team members with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, performance management, and general employee questions. As a Human Resources Generalist with Community First, you'll get to:

• Partner with managers on recruitment efforts for their department. This includes, but is not limited to: posting positions; scheduling and conducting interviews, completing candidate assessments as well as background and reference checks; and coordinating new hire communications.

• Proactively source candidates through non-traditional sources including participating in job fairs, on-campus recruitment events, and community events. Coordinate with temp agencies on openings they are contracted to fill.
• Participate in new hire orientations. Process new hire paperwork and complete onboarding activities within the HRIS system.
• Provide WOW service to our team members regarding internal job postings, benefits enrollment and changes, FMLA, ADA and Worker’s Compensation processes, and other information.
• Partner with managers on performance management processes for their team, including but not limited to: goal planning, performance assessments, career planning, and salary planning.
• Partner with managers on processing employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and separations within the HRIS system.

We're looking for a combination of:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field is preferred
• Ideally, we're looking for someone with 5 years of human resources experience in a multi-site environment - but we don't want that to deter you from applying if you're not quite there and this seems like a great fit for you
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is great! But we'd also love to support you in getting it, if you haven't already
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including advanced utilization of MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with UKG Pro or similar HRIS system preferred
• Above-average level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organization skills
