Qualifications:

• Associate in Child Development or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and implement lesson plans.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or in related field preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute preschool curriculum consistent with State licensing requirements.
• Plan and execute after-school program that meets State standards.
• Supervise students at all times pursuant to the teacher's plan of instruction.
• Ensure that students are following the class schedule in a manner consistent with the goals of the program.
• Maintain records of students’ progress and development, including attendance records, daily reports, and progress reports.
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings and trainings as required by the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $16.00 per hour
