Sarfan Early Childhood Center is Hiring an Early Childhood Teacher Near Newport, VA
The Sarfan Early Childhood Center is looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing Team of energetic Educators. Applicants must have experience working with children and be 21 years or older. Applicants with a CDA or college credits/degree is preferred. Must have experience working with Children.
Responsibilities and skills include:
· Knowledgeable about early childhood growth and development, understanding how a young child’s personality and cognitive process develop.
· Assists in gearing the program to the needs of individual children with concerns for the interests, deficiencies, special talents, individual style and pace of learning.
· The person selected for this position must be a sensitive and mature individual, who is able to relate well to both children and adults. Must be patient, pleasant, outgoing, and good natured.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
