The Human Resources Generalist provides direct support to the Human Resources Department, including the Benefits, HR Business Partnerships, HRIS and Talent Acquisition teams in the development and implementation of HR processes and procedures in alignment with the HR Strategy to increase employee satisfaction and engagement.
Responsibilities1. Supports CommonSpirit Health at Home’s mission to make the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all. Our mission aligns and supports with that of our parent health system; supports CommonSpirit Health and CommonSpirit Health at Home’s values, strategic goals and high standards of customer service; consistently lives People First Behaviors; and follows the policies and procedures of the organization.2. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.3. Maintains the department mailbox and triages email to the appropriate team member; responds to questions and concerns from both employees and company leaders.4. Works closely with all levels in the organization to maintain positive work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Supports the HR Business Partners with ADA issues, coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions. May conduct exit interviews to determine if corrective action may retain valued staff.5. Participates in pre-boarding activities and processes for new hires.6. Monitors mandatory education completion by partnering with HR Business Partners and management to issue reminders, suspensions and terminations.7. Supports performance management processes. Monitors and tracks Focal Point performance reviews following up with company leaders and ensuring accuracy for merit increase purposes.8. Responsible for bonus management, including the processing, tracking and distribution of retention bonuses. Responsible for processing, tracking and distribution of monthly service awards, including ensuring accuracy of anniversary dates.9. All other duties as required.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent
Three years’ of human resources experience with knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, performance management, compensation andpayroll practices, and federal and state employment laws.
