Colonial Group, Inc. is Hiring a Senior Recruiter Near Savannah, GA

POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Senior Recruiter will partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and boundary partners to anticipate and meet the evolving needs for delivering quality and diverse talent throughout the organization. The Senior Recruiter will build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as prospective candidates from the application process through the onboarding experience. He or she will also be responsible for short-term and long-term Recruiting Strategies within the business. JOB EXPECTATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS• Strong understanding of organizational needs, serving as a partner to effectively develop recruiting and sourcing strategies, and managing communication.• Proactively sources and maintains pipelines of qualified candidates through internal and external networks.• Manages recruiting life cycle to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within several disciplines, multiple organizations, and various industries. • Reviews applications/resumes, conducts pre-screening process, and recommends candidates for further consideration.• Meets with hiring managers and leadership to understand position requirements and long-term goals and expectations. • Contributes to the interview process with leadership, provides recommendations, and partners with hiring managers throughout the entire candidate selection process. • Maintains accurate reporting and data for talent acquisition metrics: audit needs, candidate updates, and job tracking.• Collaborates with hiring managers to review detailed job descriptions for skills and qualifications as required for the position.• Develops marketing strategies to increase and promote brand recognition.• Keeps current with industry trends as it relates to short-term and long-term recruitment strategies. • Builds relationships with local and regional partners by engaging in educational and professional programs to generate brand awareness and community involvement. • Holds additional or unique knowledge on industry specific qualifications, documentation, requirements, certifications (DOT, Coast Guard, etc..).• Remains knowledgeable of rules, regulations, and applicable laws.• Utilizes applicant tracking systems to process and track candidates for talent acquisition needs, and to ensure OFCCP, DOL, EEO, and DOT guidelines are met. • Other duties or project assignments as assigned. REQUIREMENTS• Minimum of 3 years’ working in a professional, corporate, or staffing talent acquisition position • BA/BS degree strongly preferred. Commensurate experience will be considered.• Experience using talent acquisition/applicant tracking and reporting software.• Demonstrated strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical and strategic thinking skills.• Highly developed interviewing and negotiating skills, with a thorough knowledge of state and federal laws regarding standard hiring practices.• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
