The right candidate will be customer centric and thrive in a fast-paced, detail oriented, technology-driven culture. The Sr. Account Manager will report to CI’s SVP of Sales & Marketing and be responsible for driving new logo revenue in the North Texas territory. This person will need to thrive in delivering positive customer service while effectively multitasking across customers. This person will also be highly driven, with a good technology IQ across networking, collaboration, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer service is the #1 requirement for this role. Your “customer” will both be CI customers and CI OEM’s. You will be a front-line representation of Cloud Ingenuity’s brand. You will need to be “always on” with a positive attitude.
• You are the quarterback for CI customers and the owner of their success.
• Establish positive engagements with our OEM partners. You will also be responsible for maintaining OEM relationships and these relationships are a great way to jumpstart territory building if executed properly. Our OEM relationships are just as important as our customer relationships.
• Be a hunter mentality with a high motor. The ideal candidate would come into the role with at least 10 relationships at non-existing CI customers to jumpstart your success.
• Drive data accuracy and hygiene in Salesforce so our pipeline is up-to-date, accurate, and predictable. You will own pipeline management of ensuring accurate dates and next steps where you are engaged, and therefore being detail oriented is highly important. You will be running a business and be responsible for forecasting revenue in your territory with a high level of accuracy.
• You must be highly skilled in PowerPoint and creating seven figure proposals tied to strong business case creation. A successful Sr. Account Manager is selling solutions across multiple vendors and can set themselves apart from competition by the quality of their ability to run a business campaign.
• Learn about the different technologies we offer to be technology fluent in the 5 tenants we focus on. We are not expecting someone to be an engineer, but someone who is technology educated.
• Ability to be a word smith when writing emails. Communication is highly important in this role both internally and externally. Follow-up is a massive predictor of success in this role and therefore a top requirement.
Requirements
• 7-10 years selling technology across security, networking, and collaboration
• Strong history of quota achievement
• 10 customer relationships that you can bring into the CI customer fold based on your history in working with them. We will request reference calls with a select few of the 10 provided.
• Strong customer service mentality with high emotional intelligence. Highly motivated, self-starter, who genuinely loves interacting with people.
• Detail oriented, highly organized personality who is not afraid to wear multiple hats. You will not get flustered when doing 10 things at once.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• BA/BS Degree preferred.
• Ability to work on goals, create timelines and develop a territory plan to yield revenue positive results.
• Ability to thrive in a “start-up” mentality environment.
• You must be technology fluent and not have to rely on a technical engineer to carry intelligent customer conversations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment as you will be the glue between Sales, Leadership, Delivery, and our OEMs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Salesforce experience is a must requirement.
• Must fit a positive culture of hardworking individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset.
