Job Description
The Accounting Assistant's responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, invoicing, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will use QuickBooks to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, and receipts. A successful Accounting Assistant will be familiar with all accounting and finance procedures and have exceptional attention to detail. Job Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and reporting support to Controller
- Managing all Accounts Payable and Receivable activities
- Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Auditing, tracking, correcting, and reporting accounting discrepancies
- Keeping management informed and compiling reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Process invoice payments
- Complete partnership financial reporting
Continued education of accounting, finance, and other related principles
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret data
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Familiarity basic accounting procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
