We are currently seeking a two (2) part time Accounting Interns to work in the Accounting Department in our Baton Rouge corporate office! The position would allow for ideally 20-25 hours/week of work, but we are willing to be flexible with the schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accounting Data Entry
- Assist Accounts Payable department with various needs
- Pick up/delivery of mail and other materials
- Various other duties assigned
- Assist Project Billing department with project invoicing
- Account reconciliation in the general ledger
- Entering Journal Entries
- Engaging with other client/department managers
Requirements
- Pursing a degree in Accounting or any closely related field
- Must be detail-oriented
- Should be able to work efficiently and independently
- Must be interested in gaining experience in a fast-paced corporate setting
- Microsoft Office Experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
