OMNI is honored to have been retained by the City of Overland Park, Kansas in the selection and search for a Payroll Manager.. This role is responsible for guidance, coordination and administration of payroll, human resource information system (HRIS), and centralized personnel records.
The City of Overland Park is located in the Kansas City metropolitan area and has a population of 200,000. It is the second largest city in the state of Kansas and the largest city in Johnson County, Kansas. This hands-on role will administer a variety of department-wide administrative functions and initiatives including budget analysis and review, supply purchasing program, fixed-asset management, performance measurement initiatives, and customer service/feedback initiatives. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation will be highly competitive depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. The City offers a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, a wellness program, on-site health clinic, paid vacation and sick leave, membership in the Kansas Public Employee Retirement System (KPERS) and the Overland Park Municipal Employees Pension Plan (MEPP). Residency is strongly encouraged. Relocation assistance will be negotiated in accordance with the City’s policy.
