The City of Overland Park has a CityTrainer position available in the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities:
The City Trainer role will focus primarily on:
Facilitating training sessions from on-boarding to continued development to refresher training.
This position assists with assessment, evaluation, and development of both existing and new training programs and materials.
The role is responsible for the development and delivery of learning experience across the assigned area of responsibility as well as providing consultation through the assessment, evaluation, and development of both existing and new training programs and materials.}
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Certification in facilitation, adult learning, project management experience preferred
Possession of an appropriate valid driver’s license.
Must maintain an insurable driving record.
3-5 years relevant experience or Master’s degree; operations or business environment experience
No City residency requirement.
Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
Normal Work Schedule: 8AM - 5PM, Mon. - Fri.
Salary Range: $19.8025 - $24.7532
