City of Lancaster, Texas is Hiring an Administrative Secretary Near Lancaster, TX

This position is designed to provide front line customer service support.
  • Assist employees and the general public by responding to requests for information and requests for action in a timely and customer-oriented manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the all departments as needed.
  • Maintain the employee directory
  • Primary support for answering the City Hall main phone lines, faxing, copying, filing, and sorting mail.
  • Prepares computer input forms and enters data into computer files.
  • Provide administrative support by composing memos and other correspondence.
  • Manage calendar, appointments and coordinate meetings or events as needed.
  • Prepares and maintains departmental requisitions for supplies and equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities: 
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. High School diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.); or one year related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Administrative experience preferred. A valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for this position. Driving is a requirement of this position.
