EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience that demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three years of secretarial, stenographic or substantive clerical experience.
Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of office practices and procedures; basic principles and capabilities of word processors and computers; filing methods and systems; grammar, spelling and word usage; use of standard office equipment; and the ability to type/input information accurately; understand and effectively use word processing and other software applications; understand and interpret laws, ordinances, rules and regulations; summarize and brief materials; give and follow oral and written instructions; and deal tactfully and effectively with employees and the public.

In addition to meeting the above minimum qualifications, your application will be further evaluated. Your score will be based on the quality and quantity of your education, experience and/or other related job requirements and competencies applicable to the position. Failure to provide sufficient information may result in your application being rejected or your receiving a lower score.
