Position Information
$4,684 monthly
This position supervises and is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of grounds in parks, playgrounds or other areas surrounding public buildings and facilities.
Under general supervision of the Park Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, this position supervises the maintenance staff and upkeeps grounds and facilities. Work includes but is not limited to:
- Supervising, planning assignments, directing the work of small equipment operators and grounds keepers in the care and maintenance of parks and playgrounds; overseeing work of the weekend crew.
- Traveling to conduct inspections of all assigned areas for adequacy of work, planning and scheduling work, and determining the need for repairs and improvements.
- Operating pick-up truck, trailer and utility vehicles to check park grounds and maintenance staff.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to show competence in the care and maintenance of grounds and landscaped areas.
Possession of a valid driver's license (automobile/Type 3), prior to appointment.
