JOB SUMMARY:

Accounts Payable:

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Responsible for the timely process of approved supplier invoices and disbursements, ensuring the correct G/L accounts are affected and maintaining the A/P sub-ledger in synch with the G/L. Maintains contact with suppliers for problem resolution and to ensure the company credit rating is in good standing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Accounts PayablE

• Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
• Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Maintains historical records by filing documents.
• Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
• Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
• Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Creation, analysis and posting of the bad debt report at the end of the month, considering all the payment terms determined by the client portfolio.
• Creation, analysis and posting of the obsolete inventory report at the end of the month by the analysis of each SKU sales.
• Management of the factoring process in conjunction with corporate treasury department, in addition to the reconciliation of payments and collections from invoices submitted to the program with Santander.
• Support, analysis, and valuation of the physical inventory carried out in the Cinsa USA warehouse. In addition to the preparation of the relevant inventory adjustment if required.
• Forecast and budget management for Cinsa USA at the end of each accounting month.
• Daily merchandise reconciliation between Cinsa USA and Cinsa MX, this to keep all transactions balanced.
• Daily sales report for the company.
• Generate commissions calculations and statements for the respective sales commission agents of the company.
• Support in the invoicing process by analyzing the different portals / System to have delivered properly the invoice to the customer. By the other side, the receipt of merchandise from Cinsa MX in the GRD warehouse.
• Analysis of price discrepancies, derived from price differences at invoicing process.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
