Position Description

Overview

The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of CINQCARE’s rewards programs including salary, incentive compensation, and benefits across the organization. Partners with senior leadership to ensure that rewards program design, communication and administration supports CINQCARE’s business objectives. This includes performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment with the purpose of supporting CINQCARE’s benefits and compensation processes/functions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of rewards programs through benchmarking, quantitative, and qualitative methods
  • Understand CINQCARE’s workforce segments and develop reward strategies that attract and retain talent into those segments
  • Works with senior leadership to develop compensation and benefit strategies to support the short-term and long-term needs of the business.
  • Design and implement broad-based and executive compensation programs
  • Design and deliver a methodology for annual compensation decision processes that appropriately reinforce a performance-driven culture
  • Develop, implement and administer compensation and benefits programs for current and future employees
  • Participate in compensation and benefits surveys to analyze company’s competitive position
  • Auditing benefits and compensation data to ensure on-going data integrity
  • Assist in annual salary structures review
  • Ensures implementation of benefits elections for new hires and employees with qualifying life event changes.
  • Assist employees with questions related to total rewards. Coordinates with benefits vendors to find solutions and resolve inquiries.
  • Assist in the design of the benefits and compensation related resources
  • Facilitates the new hire benefits orientations, and assists the newly benefit-eligible employees as needed
  • Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations related to total rewards programs. Assists in updating required employer notifications (e.g., Summary Plan Descriptions). 

General Duties

The Total Rewards Manager shall have following duties:

  • Leadership: Define and execute strategies and solutions to create business value in total rewards programs, including building a team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Strategy: Establish the business strategy and roadmap: (1) improve outcomes for CINQ Care Inc. members; (2) enhance the efficacy of other CINQ Care Inc. business divisions; and (3) develop and deliver external market opportunities for CINQ Care products and services. In establishing the business strategy, the Total Rewards Manager will define and innovate sustainable revenue models to drive profitability of the Company.
  • Collaboration: Ensure that total rewards capabilities form a cohesive offering, including by working closely with other business divisions to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, and define solutions to achieve the business objectives of CINQ Care Inc.
  • Knowledge: Provide subject matter expertise in total rewards solutions, including determining and recommending approaches for rewards programs, solution deployment and performance evaluation.
  • Culture: Is accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment for the total rewards team and as part of the larger Company.

Qualifications

The  Total Rewards Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferably Business/Human Resource Management)
  • Experience: 5 years of compensation/benefit leadership experience. Knowledge of compensation administration and design. Strong working knowledge of U.S. benefit trends. Experience designing and executing large scale program changes. Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to HR areas, especially compensation, benefits and employment law preferred. Proficient in MS Office.
  • Entrepreneurial: CINQ seeks to fix gaps that have persisted for generations in the delivery of care to Black and Brown populations. This position is accountable for ensuring CINQ is positioned to innovatively deliver on its promise by influencing stakeholders and working closely with them to determine acceptable outcomes.
  • Communication: Strong written/verbal communication skills. Ability to present clearly and concisely. Excellent research, analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Relationships: Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with business leaders and external constituents. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Culture: Good judgement, impeccable ethics, and a strong team player. Desire to succeed and grow in a fast-paced, demanding and entrepreneurial Company.

Location: CINQ Care Inc. has offices in Washington, D.C. and New York City. The preferred location for this role is in Washington, D.C.
