Cim-Tek Filtration is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Kennett, MO

Job Title : HR Generalist Department: 40 – G&A
Reports To: HR Manager FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Kennett, MO
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for creating, updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines and making sure they adhere to standards and laws initiated by authorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Designing a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and internal HR team.
  • Generating official internal documents such as offer letters.
  • Administer onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on policies, procedures, regulations and company information and benefits.
  • Maintain digital employee files and records for benefits, attendance, medical and personnel files.
  • Collaborate with different levels of management and employees to maintain company standards.
  • Evaluate employee performance and pay accordingly.
  • Take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and address employe concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Process Payroll.
  • Navigate Employee Relations Issues
  • Coordinate all new hire benefits and open enrollment.
  • Help employees navigate other regulated items such as FMLA, Workers Compensation, Training, and benefits as needed.
  • Willing to be involved in the community and partner with an offsite HR team in a productive and strategic manner.
  • Maintain an HRIS system and HRIS recruiting system.
  • Review and process legal documents such as I-9 Paperwork and Drug Screens.
  • Overall make sure the facility is compliant with any regulatory requirements.
  • Process and report Workers Compensation Claims.
  • Update and maintain several internal Excel Data Bases to ensure proper company reporting.
  • Attend leadership meetings and provide input and guidance for the organization and leadership team.
  • Partner with operations to bridge any gaps in safety and training.
  • Perform internal investigations as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Travel Required:
  • Infrequent – Periodic travel to alternate production facility, and for offsite equipment vendor run-off exercises.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associate degree or 5 years relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory requirements related to HR.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Critical thinking, analytical skills and problem solving.
  • Ability to work well as a team and interact as a partner to different groups of people.
  • Motivated and able to work independently while using good judgement and a willingness to make decisions.
Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk, bend and reach.
  • Occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or crawl in certain areas
  • Regularly lift up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception., and ability to adjust focus.
  • Will be required to work in non-temperature-controlled facility.
