Children's Lighthouse North Center Chicago in Chicago, IL is looking for one kitchen manager to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting the quality care of children by providing proper, healthy, timely meals. We are located on 2600 W Irving Park Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Serve breakfast, lunch, early and late snack
- Maintain food log records for food services
- Log milk usage
- Clean dishes and kitchen
- Stock and count inventory
- Do laundry
Qualifications
- Experience in an early learning center (nursing home or restaurant) as a Kitchen Manager is preferred, but not required
- Current Illinois Food Handler Certificate, required
- Food Management Certification, preferred
- Enjoys and is comfortable working with young children
- Reliable, dependable, timely, and flexible
- Team player
