Chexology is Hiring a Remote Head of Sales

Position: Head of Sales
Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000 base salary, uncapped commissions, and equity 
Location: Remote 
This is a remote position with the expectation of traveling for prospect and client needs, attending industry events, and collaborating with the team as needed. 
Reports to: Founder/CEO
Supervisory Duties: Yes 
Why we are hiring for this role:
At Chexology, a SaaS startup revolutionizing the guest experience with coat check, luggage storage, packages, valet, and other various front of house functions, we are excited to announce that we are hiring an experienced leader to build a sales team, develop channel partnerships, and accelerate revenue growth. This position will set and achieve hotel vertical revenue targets and grow into overseeing all verticals, including those with existing market penetration, such as concert & nightlife, museums, and convention centers. As the head of this team, we expect you to roll up your sleeves, pairing and selling, to best architect a sales strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a consultative mindset and a drive for business development.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet revenue targets and company objectives
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, training, and coaching
  • Cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business growth
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to expand business opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies and enhance overall performance
  • Monitor industry trends and adjust sales tactics accordingly for sustained growth.
Must-Haves:
  • Proven success in sales leadership within the hospitality SaaS industry
  • Deep understanding of SaaS sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure with the ability to train the team to source, negotiate and close deals against target numbers
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills to motivate and inspire both within the sales org and with cross functional team members in marketing, client success and product
  • Data-driven and analytical decision maker able to build a business case 
  • Self-learning mindset, relentless determination, passion, and quality execution
