SUMMARY
Lead contracts and teams in support of the client and Cherokee Federal's (company) mission. Responsible for the growth and recapture of multiple contracts within a defined portfolio. Provide tactical and strategic guidance to teams and project managers. Oversee the progress of operations by ensuring assigned project teams meet or exceed operational and contract goals. Portfolio assigned may vary depending on revenue, complexity and/or staffing requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
Supervise/manage a department and provide input towards hiring/firing/performance decisions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of federal government contract-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Work will require travel, including overnight stays.
