The Materials Sales Director will be responsible for the procurement and sales of international and domestic material product lines supporting a customer portfolio mainly centered in cement manufacturing and abrasives end-use markets. This position will conduct market research to evaluate and develop sourcing options, enhance customer networks, create procurement and sales strategies, negotiate contracts, understand pricing trends and provide forecasting models to fully develop product offerings aligned with the company’s portfolio. The Materials Sales Director will work directly with the Logistics team to evaluate procurement timing, contract risk and overall deal economics ensuring bottom line profitability and appropriate inventory management. The position requires significant travel (50% - 80%) to develop opportunities, manage existing accounts and maintain effective business relationships.
