A new position has been created within the Safety and ProductivitySolutions business for an ambitious Materials Planning/Management Professional.You will report to the VP of Planning, SPS to create the processes and toolsrequired to deploy a material planning team across the five GBEs within thedivision.
As the COE Director of Materials Planning, you will have theownership of the Network Materials Planning strategy and processes to enableexecution within the businesses. You will support your VP Planning to setthe vision and goals for your Materials Planning function and indirectly managethe people and processes to achieve this.
You will partner with the Corporate COE and SME’s to deploy theHoneywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate the full adoption of Rapid Responseplanning tools across your network.
You will own the monthly Materials Planning process cycle for yournetwork of sites and ensure raw materials replenishment plans align to thenetwork Supply & Production Plans and achieve maximum customer satisfactionand ensure working capital remains within the business goals. You will ensurethe network Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) will satisfy the networkConstrained Master Production Schedules (MPS). You will partner with theProduction Planning and Buying leaders to ensure materials are delivered to thesites/network on time whilst achieving the ISC goals of cost control andworking capital targets.
You will be closely involved in product lifecycle events andtransitions to ensure the network raw materials replenishment strategy deliverson the product portfolio vitality goals. You will partner with the productionplanning and buying leaders to create and execute your site/network materialsreplenishment plans. You will attend monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings at thesite/network level to approve the site/network production plans and to presentthese and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Business leadershipin the Supply, Reconciliation and Exec SIOP meetings. You will demonstrate howthe site/network Production plans satisfy the site/network supply plans.
You will create and drive a positive working environment andculture of continuous improvement throughout your organization to achieve thebest possible outcomes. You will lead the development of a matrixed team toincrease their skills and capability in readiness for internal progression andsuccession.
The successful candidate must be capable of translating objectivesinto a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitiveadvantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team,utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques, driving continuousimprovement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs(Key Performance Initiatives).

Lead the execution team, once established, in a regular cadence toensure data accuracy and integrity.
