JOB DESCRIPTION -

The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable department and requires strong knowledge in processing vendor payments. The perfect candidate will work effortlessly with other departments to efficiently remedy any issues that may arise in processing payments in a timely manner. This role requires someone who is organized with the ability to re-prioritize tasks quickly.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any payment-related issues
• Learn multi-tiered GL structure to accurately code expenses to proper department and GL accounts.
• Maintain and update vendor files so that payment processing is smooth.
• Handle various account reconciliations and summary reports when needed
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Analytical and strong problem-solving abilities
• Multi-company experience preferred
• Assist with 1099 preparation

REQUIREMENTS-

• Minimum of 5 years' Accounts Payable experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks & Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

COMPENSATION- $22-$28hr
