CGT is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Pittsburgh, PA
Job description
Large downtown law firm is seeking an accounts receivable clerk in its accounts receivable department. Qualified applicants should have accounting experience, excellent computer skills, and a good math aptitude.
Job Duties include the following:
- Identification of payments (checks and EFT) though third-party payment sites, remittance emails, and communication with billing attorneys or clients;
- Perform payment applications;
- Perform reversal and reallocation of unapplied payments;
- Process credit card payments
- Distribute copies of checks, invoices and other payment correspondence attorneys, legal assistants or billers as needed
- Process account receivable write-offs as requested.
- Research and respond to attorney and client inquiries as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- High school graduate;2-4 years of accounting experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Team player
