Human Resources Manager
OverviewThe role of the Human Resources Manager involves strategic planning and overseeing of various human resources functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. This position is responsible for the administration of human resources programs and policies that reflect the Company's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. The Human Resources Manager also possesses an extensive and up-to-date understanding of the federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Additionally, this position utilizes the HRIS to facilitate processes and provide comprehensive data and reports on HR activities.
Responsibilities
Qualifications1. Master’s degree is preferred, but material, demonstrated successful experience may be considered in lieu of a master’s degree.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required.
3. At least ten (10) years’ experience in HR with five (5) years’ experience managing Human Resources staff in a medium-sized business/organization.
4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
6. Thorough knowledge of best practices in HR, with a solid understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws to include Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, IRS, INS, Title IX, and employment discrimination regulations.
7. Familiarity with HR management systems and overall technological proficiency.
8. Human Resources professional certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
Salary Requirements: $85K - $110K
