Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator is responsible for setting up all new hires to the organization for success by providing excellent customer service. The HR Coordinator is the first friendly face to greet all guests into the Human Resources Dept. 

  • New hire paperwork
  • Update and maintain Smartsheet tracker
  • Background checks
  • Coordinates drug screens
  • Completes the I9/E-Verify
  • Schedules Onboarding 
  • Will process status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and all other changes and get all appropriate approvals before processing in the HRIS.
  • Maintains licensure and certification reports to maintain compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory standards.
  • Processes evaluations and keeps personnel records up to date.
  • Assists with hospital recognition programs and assists employees with general Human Resources questions.

The Ideal Candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and radiate positivity. 

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required or 6 years of related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Previous Human Resources experience is required.
  • Microsoft computer skills required.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.00 to $31.97. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
