MISSION
As a Construction Project Manager at CD Barnes Construction, you will be at the forefront of our most exciting and challenging projects. You will have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technology to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
SKILLS
· Be computer literate (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
· Understand the operation of smart phones, computers, printers, and tablets.
· Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate experience preferred, but not required.
· Have knowledge of construction (means and methods).
· Possess understanding of owner contracts, subcontracts, agreements, purchase orders, and other agreements relative to a project.
· Able to read, review, and interpret project specifications, drawings, addendums, requests for information, scopes of work, change orders, etc.
· Possess understanding of building components and systems.
THE JOB
· Lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
· Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to effectively manage resources and mitigate risks.
· Utilize the latest construction management software and tools to optimize project workflows and improve communication.
· Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, providing guidance and support to project teams to ensure project success.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
· Work within West Michigan. Stay local.
EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or GED
· 4-year degree in construction related field preferred but not required
· Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
· Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
