Casa Cruz New York, is located in a six-story beaux arts townhouse on 61st Street, between Park and Madison Avenue. Casa Cruz New York has 220 seats across five floors and is open for dinner and drinks. A Server Assistant at Casa Cruz New York will be responsible for always providing elegant and welcoming service to our guests by following the Santa Cruz Co. Brand Standard. The ideal Server will be energetic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about hospitality, food and beverage. This role works with a strong attention to detail and directs the activities of their support staff to ensure an unparalleled dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create a warm and hospitable environment for guests and colleagues
• Uphold high-level service standards
• A friendly disposition and proactive nature (always maintain a fully stocked station throughout the duration of service)
• Is ready and willing to assist fellow team members as needed 
• Adheres to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies 
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned 
• Must have open availabiity, at minimum weekends required

Skills & Requirements:

• Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction
• Previous food and beverage experience as a busser, runner, or serving assistant capacity minimum 2 years
• Strong knowledge and interest in food and beverage
• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds of weight
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects
• This is a full-time position
