Dental Assistant II

Full-time DA II ready to work in a busy pediatric setting. We work 4 days per week 8-4 : 30 and we alternate Mondays and Fridays as off days.

Tasks include, but not limited to

• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctor's schedule and patient flow
• Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart
• Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
• Educate patients and address their questions and / or concerns
• Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patient's chart.
• Clean and prepare operatory per company procedures prior to patient appointment
• Sterilize equipment and operatories per OSHA guidelines
• Required Certifications : all certifications required to earn DAII status including coronal polishing

Paid vacation and sick time accrues monthly (vacation time accrues at higher rates at start of years 2, 4, & 6). There is a monthly bonus of $250 to help defray the cost of benefits we do not provide.

We have 9 paid holidays yearly. Additionally, we take care of our staff's dental cleanings when the schedule allows. Our employees can count on their scheduled hours- for example, if we encounter a slow day, we do not believe in sending our staff home.
