Job Title
Accounts Payable Assistant
Job Purpose
To assist accounting department with accounting tasks.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Receiving and logging invoices
2. Filing invoices and other documents
3. Maintaining and updating accounts payable ledger
4. Assisting with inventory
5. Assisting with financial statements.
6. printing and mailing checks
7. Assist the senior accountant with various accounting items/tasks as they occur
Please NOTE, tasks may vary according to weeks and/or financial time period
Requirements
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
