Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in the male urinalysis department. In addition to performing urinalysis procedures, the selected candidate will also be responsible for managing the urinalysis calendar and front desk duties, including checking in clients and collecting copays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the urinalysis calendar, scheduling appointments, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Conducting male urinalysis procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensuring accurate labeling and documentation of urine samples.
• Following established protocols for sample handling and storage.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the urinalysis area.
• Assisting healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
• Greeting clients warmly upon arrival and checking them in for appointments.
• Verifying insurance information and collecting copays or outstanding balances.
• Answering phone calls and addressing inquiries or scheduling appointments as needed.
• Collaborating with the administrative team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Previous experience in urinalysis procedures is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a busy calendar effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.75 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
