Pinellas Medical Associates is a fast paced orthopedic practice in St. Petersburg. We share a parking lot with Northside Hospital. We are seeking PT or FT medical front office receptionists. We use eClinicalWorks EMR. We are looking for someone to hit the ground running. We will compensate according to years of experience. We have wonderful and generous providers. Basic employee health insurance is paid for by the practice. The company contributes 3% of your gross pay into a 401k starting at 1 year. No contribution is needed by the employee. **NO BENEFITS FOR PART-TIME EMPLOYEES**

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in/check-out patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect patient payments as needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical documentation
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Manage front desk operations and ensure a clean and organized reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting required
- Familiarity with patient service and phone systems
- Knowledge of medical records management and confidentiality protocols
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and file management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
