Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Part-Time Insurance Verifier to join our administrative team. The Insurance Verifier will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency of our billing processes by accurately verifying insurance coverage for clients and coordinating with insurance providers.

Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for new and existing clients.
• Enter insurance information accurately into our electronic health records (EHR) system.
• Obtain authorization for services by communicating with insurance companies when necessary.
• Assist clients in understanding their insurance benefits and coverage.
• Review and reconcile insurance claims to ensure accuracy and prompt submission.
• Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any insurance-related issues or denials.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide additional administrative support as required, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Previous experience in insurance verification or medical billing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology, procedures, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position with fixed hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling approximately 20 hours per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
