Care Options For Kids is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Denver, CO

Job Summary

Assist Care Options for Kids, in becoming the Provider of Choice through recruitment of, on-boarding of, and marketing for top talent for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). You’ll manage the recruitment process from initial contact all the way through to hiring our nurses and caregivers.

Responsibilities and Duties

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and implements various recruiting plans and strategies for RN and LPN caregivers.
  • Participates in developing company goals, objectives and systems including recruiting and retention.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for caregivers including writing and placing of advertisements, screening of resumes, reaching out by phone, email and text.
  • Manage recruitment process online through our applicant tracking system.
  • Completes recruitment process including application, paperwork, credentials, etc.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Detailed tracking of caregiver activities in excel.
  • Assist local offices with the development and implementation of caregiver recruiting plans and efforts. Recommend new approaches, contests, etc. to consistently drive improvements and increases in the number of active caregivers.
  • Communicate effectively with management and local offices to ensure needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Create excitement with candidates to join our organization.
  • Respond promptly to all applicants and proactively guide candidates through the online process.
  • Assist Director of Marketing with items as needed such as brand collateral, special campaigns, etc.
  • Develop contests and other programs to encourage offices to increase recruiting and allow for transparency and healthy competition within the organization.
  • Develop tools and reports to measure and increase recruiting efforts and success.
  • Perform reference, license, background, and other checks on candidates to ensure hiring criteria is met.
  • Discuss pay ranges with candidates and Market Manager to facilitate hire.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ALL STAFF:

  • Treat and communicate with clients, families, co-workers, and caregivers with courtesy, respect, and consideration.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all clients, caregivers, and business information.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as necessary to perform job duties.
  • Report to work as assigned or scheduled timely. Follow procedures for notification of absence or time-off requests.
  • Maintain professional/technical competency and proficiency of job responsibilities by attending and participating in meetings, conferences and education programs as requested.
  • Perform all job responsibilities with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications and Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of recruiting experience. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma. Four-year college degree strongly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other technology that are utilized to conduct job functions.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System preferred.
  • Knowledge of ContinuLink a plus.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to solve complex problems and function effectively in a stressful work environment.
  • Must have strong communication, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize needs.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Salary: $50,000 a year
