Your Mission:

Captiv8 is looking for a rock-star Account Director with expertise in managing Fortune 500 company clients. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to be hands-on and get things accomplished, but can also delegate and have the foresight to get projects done working cross-functionally with teams. Looking for a strong-willed individual to lead our clients and work hand in hand with the Sales and Strategy team to set a long-term strategy with assigned clientele and deliver on that.

As an Account Director, you will be working across a portfolio of Enterprise clients who are leading the way when it comes to the creator economy. The Account Director is responsible for the account development of our existing clients, including renewals and upsells within your portfolio. You will be responsible for being a key strategic partner to our client's creator-based marketing programs to ensure they optimize their investments and approach. Your role will partner closely cross-functionally with Sales on the long and short-term strategy and growth of key accounts. Ultimately you will be responsible for the success of your client accounts and focus on looking at how to drive the health of the account as well as renewals and growth.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding of the customer journey process and improvements of existing strategies and executions.
  • Ability to see the “big picture”, curiosity into clients' business needs, identify key issues and provide proactive strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Understand client business objectives, health, and revenue potential growth plan
  • Coordinate & execute established account strategy to empower partnership growth internally & externally.
  • Coordinate large client briefs, RFIs, RFPs and QBRs
  • Deliver clear and strategic proposals and present them to existing clients
  • Take ownership of key accounts and drive consistent upsells and repeat business
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly KPI targets 
  • Lead day-to-day mid-level client and agency relationships, communication, and meetings
  • Assist sales is accurate pipeline management and sales forecasting
The ideal candidate:
  • Passionate, curious, and a strategic thinker with a passion for the creator economy, social media, and digital marketing and how it’s evolving
  • Is commercially aware, organized, confident and communicates exceptionally well
  • Has a strategic consulting or sales background/approach to client business; understands how to extract requirements, wants, and needs from your clients and translate it into measurable goals and actions
  • Meticulous with your planning and can think of creative ways to get ahead of the game and exceed partner needs and reach revenue growth goals 
  • Proactive and has the ability to anticipate needs with strong account management and communication skills
  • Data-driven approach, leveraging data and insights to achieve client KPIs and determine growth opportunities
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience working in social media planning influencer marketing
  • Experience with oversight of brand marketing initiatives (specific to influencers a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead senior-level clients & agency counterparts at the Enterprise level
  • Brand or agency experience desirable
  • Superb project management skills to manage multiple programs at various stages internally & externally
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to brainstorm new offerings/applications and come up with creative solutions
