GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Job Coaches will be responsible for supporting students enrolled in Project Forward's vocational training program at their specific job sites. The Job Coaches coordinate with the Program's Workforce Coordinator and program Instructors to ensure seamless transitions of skills, fading of supports and collaboration across curriculum.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Guide and provide scaffolded support to students with disabilities working at job sites within their particular vocation
• Develop student supports and communicate directly with Instructors
• Evaluate student performance on the job and prepare student evaluation reports
• Attend student conferences if necessary
• Attend staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and program events
• Act as a program liaison at job site and report any issues or queries back to Workforce Coordinator
• Drives students to job site in program van or college car

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree (Associates experience will be considered)
• 1-2 years' experience working with special needs students
• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 25 pounds
• Proficiency with computers and technology (Office 365)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in oral and written communication
• Interpersonal effectiveness in working with students and staff
• Must have a valid MA state driver's license
• Able to transport students in a program van to job sites
