Candlewood Suites Nashville Metro Center is looking for a Night Auditor to assist in maintaining daily financial records for the hotel as well as provide excellent customer service to all guests as a front desk attendant.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audit, balance and report all department revenue of the hotel to provide accurate, timely information and to ensure company and Hotel policies and procedures are followed and to prevent fraud.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks, and credit transactions.
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity.
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash.
• Submits nightly report to corporate office
• Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.
• Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
• Excellent speech communication skills required to communicate with guests over the telephone.
• Excellent comprehension and literacy required for reading daily reports, numbers, etc.
• Prompt job attendance is required.
• Nights (11 PM - 7 AM) Friday and Saturday mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
