Currently, our IT team is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join the group. The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of solid database, network admin, or system admin experience (an associate or bachelor degree in computer science, IT, System Admin, etc.. is required). This role is responsible for assisting the associate IT director in providing customer and operational support to all end-users. You will be responsible for -

- maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, and for assisting with the MSP with Microsoft 365 administration, Cloud spam filter and archiver, Cloud and physical servers, firewalls, and other network equipment.

- Install hardware and software.

- participation in researching and developing wasy to continuously improve and keep up with IT business needs of the organization.

- actively resolved problems and issues with computers, ERP, software, networking, and systems to limit work disruptions throughout the company.

- building on to, and maintaining a complete working knowledge and understanding of all Cloud and software systems (and hardware) from an end-user's perspective.

This role will report to the Associate IT Director, and work closely with all department heads and end-users throughout the company. The role is office-based from the CL Smith headquarters in mid-town St. Louis, MO.

Strong technical skills and people skills are a a must, and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, executives, vendors, and customers (at all levels of an organization) is critical.
