The Role

IT Systems Engineer--Technical

What you will do

As a Systems Engineer, you will work as a member of the projects team to design and implement innovative solutions that showcase your strong knowledge of our products. Your passion for technology is balanced by your understanding of processes and procedures, and how they relate to small business. As an escalation resource to the technical team, you will lead by example. As part of the team, you will share and communicate ideas and knowledge to all members of our organization.

The Experience You Need to Be Successful

To thrive in this role, you will need strong Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, Backup/DR, and network design and implementation experience. Azure Gov/GCC experience is a plus. Cisco CCNA or equivalent experience preferred. Prior experience working for a technology service provider is a plus. Business acumen, verbal/written/presentation skills, strong troubleshooting methodology, and project scoping experience are all important qualities an ideal candidate will possess.

The Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 5-7 years industry experience, preferably with a technology service provider
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills, ability to write technical processes and procedures
• Certifications (CISSP, CCNA, MSCE/A or equivalent) a plus
• Local candidates only, ability to travel within the St. Louis metro area to client sites
