Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.

Bilingual: English/Spanish is highly desired.

Pay: Ranges from $70,000-$85,000

Travel to other business locations on occasion.

This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection.
    • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
    • Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Administer performance appraisal processes and guide supervisors and employees.
    • Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
  4. HR Compliance:
    • Stay informed about labor laws and ensure compliance with HR policies.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  5. Benefits Administration:
    • Assist employees with open enrollment and new hire benefit enrollment.
    • Assist employees in contacting the benefits team on in-depth inquiries.
  6. Training and Development:
    • Support employee development initiatives and career growth opportunities.
  7. Employee Engagement:
    • Plan and organize employee engagement activities and events.
    • Contribute to the development of a positive and collaborative work culture.
  8. HR Reporting:
    • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely HR record-keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
