Job Overview:

As a Part-Time Digital Marketing Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to our digital marketing efforts, including on-site content creation, website management, and digital campaigns. Your role will be essential in shaping our online identity and community engagement through various digital platforms.

In addition to content creation and on-site work, you will be responsible for updating our Square website and event calendar, managing email and SMS campaigns, collaborating with the owner to evaluate and adjust marketing efforts as needed, and creating marketing collateral for events, promotions, and special offers using tools such as Canva or Adobe.

Responsibilities:

1: On-Site Content Creation:

*Capture high-quality video and image content during events and daily operations at our venues. *Create visually engaging content that resonates with our audience, including graphics, videos, and photos. *Ensure consistent brand messaging and style in all on-site content.

2: Website and Event Calendar Management:

*Update and maintain our Square website, ensuring it reflects accurate information and engaging content. *Manage and update our event calendar to promote upcoming events and activities.

3: Digital Marketing Strategy:

*Collaborate with the owner to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies. *Monitor and analyze the performance of digital campaigns, providing insights for optimization.

4: Evaluation and Adjustment:

*Meet regularly with the owner to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts. *Provide recommendations for adjustments and improvements to enhance engagement and reach.

5: Email and SMS Campaigns:

*Create and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns to engage with our audience and promote events. *Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments.

6: Social Media Management:

*Manage and grow our social media presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google, and Yelp. *Engage with the LGBTQ community and respond to comments and messages.

7: Content Creation with Canva or Adobe:

*Develop marketing collateral for events, promotions, and special offers, including flyers, ads, and other materials. *Ensure that all marketing collateral aligns with our brand identity and messaging.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. *Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management. *Strong understanding of Square website management, email marketing, and SMS campaigns. *Proficiency in Canva or Adobe for creating marketing collateral. *Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. *Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas. *Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. *Knowledge of and sensitivity towards LGBTQ issues and culture.
