Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Ryan White Part C/ Early Intervention and Part A Program Director. This pivotal position requires a candidate with strong program management skills and exceptional grant-writing abilities to lead and supervise the day-to-day functions of the Ryan White programs, specifically Part C, which provides comprehensive primary HIV medical care and support services in an outpatient setting through Early Intervention Services program grants.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Part C Program, ensuring alignment with the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) statute.
Prepare and submit all grant reports, ensuring compliance with Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) RWHAP funds.
Team Supervision:
Supervise and manage a team including medical case managers, Prep Navigators, Patient Navigators, Program Coordinator, Care Coordinator, and administrative support staff.
Implement talent management strategies, promoting diversity and inclusion, conducting payroll activities, providing coaching and training, handling disciplinary actions, and conducting performance reviews.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Quality Improvement Team to establish quality goals, objectives, and strategies for the Ryan White Programs.
Ensure adherence to HRSA and Cooperative Health regulatory guidelines, monitoring funds and quality measures.
Community Engagement:
Act as a liaison between the Ryan White Programs, partner organizations, and HRSA project officer.
Develop public relations and communications strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness.
Reporting and Documentation:
Write monthly progress reports for the Chief Operating Officer and senior administrative staff.
Training and Development:
Plan, coordinate, update, and facilitate meetings, training manuals, policies and procedures, and program guidelines.
Participate in quality management meetings to establish and achieve quality goals.
Other Duties:
Identify open positions and follow hiring and training procedures in a timely manner.
Assist with the development of public relations and communications strategies.
Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Social Work Administration, Management, or a Health-related field.
Background in social work (LMSW or LCSW) preferred.
Five (5) years of professional experience involving program planning and development, particularly in HIV/AIDS education, prevention, care, and treatment.
Previous supervisory/managerial experience required.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in project management preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
FQHC experience highly desired.
Multi-level experience with EMR or Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management.
