DUTIES:

Reporting to the Director of Program and Job Development, providing administrative/supervisory support
for the Summer Youth Employment Program.

• Responsible for assisting the Director of Program and Job Development with the supervision of all program activities related to outreach, recruitment, and enrollment of Participants and Work Sites.
• Coordinates with the Job Developer to recruit suitable worksites for Participant assignment.
• Provides Project Coordinator assignments, and data collection reports, coordinates attendance, and weekly site monitoring reports, makes worksite visits as needed, and supervises the daily activities.
• Coordinates with the Education Coordinator to provide Participant and Worksite Orientation and work readiness support.
• Responsible for reviewing the Monitoring reports.
• Responsible for meeting regularly with the Project Coordinators to discuss participant work site assignments and promptly picking up and dropping off participant time sheets and evaluations.
• Responsible for supervising, compiling, accurate, and timely reporting of all program statistical data for review by the Director of Program and Job Development and the Executive Director before submission to the relevant agencies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or at least two years of College with a Human Resources/Business Administration background.
• A two (2) year work history with computer experience is required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work a flexible and occasionally hectic schedule.
• Knowledge of SEL and PYD.
• Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of East Flatbush, Flatbush, Crown Heights, Brownsville, and Canarsie neighborhoods.
