HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services (HSVS) Nuevo Camino program is dedicated to providing 38 unaccompanied minors, ages 5-12, with a supportive, nurturing environment through transitional foster homes, daily education Monday - Friday, and supportive wrap-around services in the East Brooklyn section of New York City. Our program is rooted in ensuring that service delivery is trauma informed, culturally appropriate, and tailored to the needs of each child while maintaining all program requirements of ORR.

Reporting to the Program Director of Nuevo Camino, the Assistant Program Director will oversee a foster care portfolio which includes transitional care staff, and affiliates/partners, and adhering to federal regulations and best practices;Support the Program Director with overseeing the program needs.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or equivalent
• 1 year of similar experience
• Bilingual in Spanish, required
• LMSW or LCSW /Driver’s License, required
• Combined five years of experience and knowledge of child welfare systems, principles, practices and emerging trends (foster care preferred).
• Five years progressive managerial experience with increasing roles and responsibilities in supervision, program management, implementation and evaluation.
• Experience with Refugee and Unaccompanied Immigrant children.
• Experience in program development, administration and budget oversight.
