Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related discipline or equivalent education and experience.

• 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a regulated environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidance applicable to pharmaceutical, or biological manufacturing.

• Technical Aptitude. Proficient in the use of tools such as Microsoft Office suite, ability to analyze data, create reports and presentations.

• Basic exposure to continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Must be self-motivated, possess initiative, and have a positive attitude. This person will be eager to learn and grow within this position.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Incumbent will be required to communicate effectively across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.

• Ensures compliance with current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMPs), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP) and other global regulatory requirements at all times.

• The Manager, OpEx will be heavily involved in supporting the site in planning, coordinating and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.

• Supports the OpEx team to drive root cause analysis and improve efficiencies across the site.

• Incumbent will be a student and adopter of the Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies and be a change agent within the organization.

• Assists in monitoring projects, initiatives, and key metrics for the site.

• Fosters a culture of compliance and strong environmental, health, and safety performance. Travel Requirement
